Being advertised as a maine coon cat tower, capable of supporting the weight of full grown maine coon cats is the reason I purchased this item. I have two cats, neither of which is a maine coon. My female is a rugged mix weighing in the 12-15# range while our little male is just that, a small cat. We have not had this unit more then maybe two weeks and it is already rocking and rolling every time our cats take to it. I have gone so far as to add a pair of large bricks to the bottom in hopes of aiding in the stability but all it does is prevent the tower from falling over under our cats' activity. Very disappointed in the lack of overall sturdiness, not a bit like how this unit is advertised. Would Never Recommend To Anyone who has anything but small to medium sized cats, at most.

My cats love this cat tower. I love it because it should last a while. I ordered all sisal posts so theres no carpet mess to vacuum every day. My only complaint is one of the posts had a screw blocking the hole to connect the middle bed/post so I removed one of the three screws. I'm sure the two super long screws will be enough to hold it securely.

I gave 4 stars because the top perch leans slightly (could not get it to screw in straight) and is slightly wobbly. The rest of the tower is sturdy and well built. My cats love it and do use the top perch.

Wonderful cat tree and thank you for making it with the dart color carpet. This is so much better made than anything in the stores. My 3 cats are still looking at it like it's a cat eating monster but they'll eventually love it. I gave it 4 stars because there were a lot of carpet threads that I had to deal with (my cats would chew and eat them if they could) but otherwise it is just what we wanted. Thank you.

My girls are larger - close to 20 lbs each - so finding a tower that doesn't tilt and wobble with their every jump is a challenge. This tower has come closest so far. It is heavy and sturdy, and both of my cats took to it instantly. On the down side, the tower distinctly leans to the right side. It is also extremely large and odd-shaped. Would be better if it stood straighter and could square up with at least one wall. Still, I'm pleased with the purchase. More important, my girls are pleased with the purchase.
