Sometimes we are able to customize a cat tree for you but most times we are not. There are hundreds of steps that go into designing cat trees and condos, most custom requests will not be accepted as the quantity of work to design build and execute a plan is very tidous and involves collaboration with several staff members taking time away from our bulk production. What is not realized about building a custom cat tree is how many things go wrong during that process. Causing extreme time and material costs. Most do not want to incur extra costs associated with this process either. Even those that might seem like a small request may not be possible due to the way a product is packaged, hardware used, concern about shipping damages, concerns about stability and safety and much more. Below are some examples of custom requests that are approved most often.
- Swapping out sisal rope for carpet
- Adding rope when not an option to do so for that product
- Special color requests
- Part Changes. For Example-Larger/smaller size circular perch, Deeper Edge perch/smaller edge perch, Other swapping of circular and rectangular perches
Please keep in mind the following things when requesting any customization.
- Our response time to your request may not be immediate, We may not know the answer right away, we may be busy, It is rare for one person here to have all of the answers. Most construction customization plainning involves at least 4 different personnel for answers on execution.
- Timeline-If you want it fast, We are not the best option for you. We are NOT going to prioritize your request. Times are fluid, customization gets messed up, we have to start from scratch at times, materials can dramatically affect timelines as well as our availability to tend to your request.
- Operational Costs
- Additional Shipping Costs (minimum shipping costs for even small parts are about $20-30)
- Sales are FINAL and no refunds are offered, we will work with you on issues with parts replacement etc.
