These stairs had a new carpet smell for a couple of days but were fine after they aired out a bit. I let my cat get used to looking at the stairs for about a week. After that, I showed her how to use them a couple of times to get down from the chair she likes. She now uses them all the time. I especially like that the stairs came completely assembled and don’t take up a large amount of room. My kitty is 14 years old now and has arthritis in her front legs. The stairs have been a huge help in keeping her from jumping from the furniture to the floor which causes her to limp.

These pet steps are wonderful for my elderly cat. Been searching for a sturdy product and these are it, VERY sturdy! I’ve tried products covered in sisal but he didn’t care for them at all. He now scratches the carpet on the pet stairs and I’m so happy! He can easily get on the couch too. Thank you New Cat Condo!

Very nice! Thick carpet. Had the posts wrapped in sisal. Looks great. Love that I didn’t have to assemble it and it feels secure.

Best cat furniture ever! I ordered it in brown and it looks even better than the picture. Its beautifully designed and very sturdy, not shabby like the ones in the store that cost a lot more! My senior cat Oscar has arthritis and balance issues and this is perfect for him to climb on. It took him a while to get used to--I think its the new wood smell--but now he really likes it.
