    This tree is really very pretty. My cats love it. The base is a little bit more unstable than some of the other 6 foot trees I’ve had. The half moon shape is one of my cats favorite purchase, but it needs to be about 3 inches bigger.

    This cat condo was more expensive than our previous one, but you get what you pay for. This one is sturdy (made with real wood,) made with real carpet (not that faux fluff stuff,) & will last a long long time. We paid extra to have all four vertical posts wrapped with sisal. Our cats love it. They use the 2nd level as a “launching pad” when they go outside. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

    My 2 boys absolutely love this tower!! They cavort around and chase each other up it and around it. I bought this after examining dozens of towers/condos with many companies. They both love the nesting bed at the top and one boy sleeps there nightly. It's made so sturdily and the real carpet will hold up far better with the abuse these boys will give it over time (as is my experience with an older tower with real carpet that is still in great shape after 15 years with 3 cats.) The carpet is attached well to the wood - can't feel any staples or screws or nails. The edges are all neat - none of those nylon strings that seem to show up as carpet edges unravel. This tower/condo came in a huge box, but wasn't too heavy to maneuver and slide from the front porch into the living room. The base came with the 2 lower perches in one piece along with the lower part of the sisal pole. The tube perch/part of the sisal pole was easy to screw into the lower sisal pole portion on the base and has a heavy-duty 1/2"(?) thick screw bolt and once the top nesting portion is attached in the same way with the heavy duty bolt, the tube cannot move or wiggle/unscrew, so the entire tower is very safe, even with all the power the boys surge at it. I would, however, recommend using a tether to a wall stud if your cats, like mine, are larger, heavier and really jump and dive on it. I looked for towers/condos that had a configuration for easy 'step up' ascension - some are more hazardous in how cats can SAFELY jump up and balance and then jump up again to the next level. This SAFE step-up ability is very important as cats get older or heavier or for larger cats where balance and/or strength may be an issue or become an issue with age. I have one tower with a tube but the hole is far too small for grown cats to pass through, but in this tower the peek-a-boo hole is large enough that both boys are able to get in and out of the tube with ease if they desire. The price was excellent in for all its qualities - diameter size, real carpet, real wood, height, number of perches (no condos), and step-up ability in comparison to some companies. Shipping was free!!!!! For our experience so far, I'd give this kitty tower 4.5 stars - I'd love to give it 5 other than for my boys it needs a tether and the second perch from the bottom is a bit small for them to really fit on comfortably for any length of time as they are large and long-bodied (they mostly use it as a jumping point. Neither of these would take away if your cat is more average size/weight and/or not as wild, crazy in leaping like my boys.

    The carpet had too strong of a chemical smell to it. If this is made in the USA I’d expect the carpet to be from the USA as well. Also, I cannot tighten it completely because the towers are too close to each other.

    Great exercise and comfort for our cat

    We've got a 1-year-young cat that we "inherited" from our son (Mango didn't get along with his earlier cat, and ended up being confined to one room most of the time). When Mango came to us, I knew that I wanted him to be an indoor-only cat, so I researched on the net what it would take to keep him healthy and happy. There's a lot that goes into that, but one of the clear lessons was to provide a range of opportunities for play and exercise. Enter the Deluxe Cat Tower. The fact that it has no ramps and the levels are about farther apart than other models means that Mango is stretching, climbing, and jumping as a matter of course. The "cat cave" on level 3 has become a favorite spot for self-play and general rambunctiousness, as well a his favorite stretching/relaxation spot (he frequently is hanging out both ends). The "crows nest" on level 4 is his place to keep an eye on things while staying mostly hidden, or to take lengthy naps. We've had the Tower for about three weeks, and it's been fun to watch his confidence grow as he explores new ways of climbing up to the two upper levels--it's as if he's intentionally challenging himself to find more difficult routes to follow. His acrobatics for getting from inside the cat cave to the top and back again have become both amazing and hilarious as he's gotten bolder. To get more use out of levels 1 and 2, I've hung a few dangling toys for him to bat around and wrestle with from the bottom of the cat cave and the level 2 platform. Combined with his other favorite playthings, Mango can keep himself active for 10-20 minutes at a time, racing around the house from one thing to another (interval training, I guess), with the Tower as his home base. It's also true that the materials and construction quality appear to be very good (no issues so far), and it was certainly easy to assemble. Highly recommended for younger cats and middle-aged cats with no mobility issues.

    The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because the workmanship on our tower is sloppy. There are gaps in the carpeting and sisal rope at the connections, which don't show in the model of the tree. The kitties love playing on it and hanging out, but I just wish that once screwed in it would be flush with the material.

    I bought the pink cat tree! Looks great with my light colored apartment! It is also easy to assemble and sturdy to use. My 13lb boys have no issue climbing up and down. They love it!
